Our commitment
House of Properties is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability, technology or circumstance. We believe looking for a home, or instructing an agent, should be straightforward for everyone.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and we review the site regularly as it develops.
What we do
Text is written in plain English and sized to remain readable when enlarged in your browser.
Pages can be navigated by keyboard, and the site is built to work with modern screen readers.
Colours and contrast are chosen for legibility, and content does not rely on colour alone to convey meaning.
Images that carry meaning include alternative text descriptions.
Forms are clearly labelled, and error messages explain what needs to be corrected.
If something is hard to use
If any part of this site is difficult to use, or you would like information in another format, such as large print, over the phone or by email, contact us and we will provide it.
We welcome feedback on accessibility. If you tell us about a problem we will do our best to fix it promptly and to offer you an alternative in the meantime.
Viewings and appointments
Let us know about any access requirements when you book a viewing, valuation or appointment and we will make suitable arrangements wherever we can. This includes step-free meeting arrangements, additional time at appointments, or a British Sign Language interpreter where reasonably practicable.
