Privacy Notice

How we collect, use and protect the personal information you share with us.

This page contains our standard wording. If you would like it replaced with your own solicitor-approved policy text, send it over and we will publish it here.

Who we are

House of Properties is an estate and letting agency based in Uxbridge. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a data controller.

Information we collect

We collect the details you give us when you enquire, register, book a viewing, apply for a tenancy or instruct us to sell or let a property. This typically includes your name, contact details, property requirements and, where a tenancy or purchase progresses, identity and financial information required by law.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to enquiries, match you with suitable properties, carry out referencing and anti-money-laundering checks, manage tenancies and meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your information. We share it only with parties necessary to the transaction, such as referencing providers, deposit schemes, contractors attending a repair, solicitors and landlords or purchasers as relevant.

How long we keep it

We keep records for as long as necessary to provide our services and to satisfy legal, tax and regulatory requirements, after which they are securely deleted.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we have no legal reason to keep it, or object to certain uses. Contact us and we will respond within the statutory timescale.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
